About Us

TuCSSYS (Pty) Ltd (Tuck-shop Consignment Stock Imprest System) is a revolutionary fintech solution dedicated to combating township wealth erosion and addressing the high youth unemployment rate in South Africa. Founded in 2020 by Tshidiso Seliane, a former auditor and accountant turned SME business mentor, TuCSSYS is on a mission to reclaim local control and ownership of the township retail sector.

Starting with just 108 tuck shops in the Fezile Dabi District Municipality in the Free State in 2022, we have rapidly expanded our reach. Through strategic partnerships, such as with the Free State Business Council for Districts, we are mobilizing local shop owners in Free State to access the Spaza Shop Support Program (SSSP). This initiative, driven by the Small Enterprise Finance Agency for the Department of Small Business Development, aims to empower small businesses and foster economic growth in South Africa.
